Parks, crater, peaks and tide

The northern circuit first — then Arusha NP, Manyara, Mikumi, Ruaha, Nyerere, Kilimanjaro, Meru and the islands.

Serengeti National Park

Endless grass, the Great Migration, big cats on kopjes and golden evenings that feel like the first morning of the world. We run central, western and northern circuits depending on the month.

Ngorongoro Crater & highlights

A collapsed caldera packed with lion, elephant, flamingo and black rhino. We drop to the floor at first light, picnic by the hippo pool, then climb to the rim for the view that stays with you. Nearby: Olduvai Gorge, Empakaai and a Maasai boma visit.

Tarangire National Park

Baobabs, the Tarangire River and one of the largest elephant gatherings in East Africa. Quiet in the green season, busy with herds when the water concentrates. A gentle first or last park day from Arusha.
